To navigate the context of accelerated change in which we find ourselves, it is necessary to accelerate the transfer of knowledge to society (Innovating Series Episode 8).

On the other hand, the circular economy has emerged as an indispensable means of our own survival.

With these two premises, it is not unreasonable to deduce that, in this new era that we are now beginning, it is the process of innovating itself that needs to promote the recycling of technologies. Understanding the concept “technology” in its expanded definition: tangible or intangible, knowledge or technological profiles.

This approach invites us to rediscover and add value to both the tangible and intangible aspects of technology, in a rigorous process in which recycling must incorporate the assessment of these assets and resources. And where the combination of technologies is aimed at providing value, at producing impact solutions for society.

In the coming era of innovation, the reuse and repurposing of knowledge will be part of our “culture of innovation.” In the same way that years ago we began to reuse assets as part of our operational culture…
